Lordi penguins

As a starter, I'd like to offer a picture of cute penguins to you ( which will have a meaning in the story, too ):

These adorable penguins were photographed by me years ago in Lithuania, at Klaipeda's dolphinarium. I think it was year 2004 or so. And they have a connection with this story.

I find that in the last time, Lordi fans are starting to remind penguins. They gather in flocks and groups, act hostile towards strangers and newbies that don't belong to their groups etc. And they show another interesting characteristics the penguins above showed, too. Let me tell about that first:

When we were at the dolphinarium, it was about the time when the penguins got their food. They were all standing around a door, waiting. The door opened, the keeper came in. But... he didn't bring any fish, he just got the bucket he had forgotten there earlier. No fish... and the penguins became grumpy. Instead of waiting for him to return, they decided to come in contact with the visitors behind the glass.

In a few minutes, the door opened again, and the same keeper came, carrying fish. The penguins, now angry about being fooled earlier, started pinching in his boots. Until he gave the fish to them. The penguins devoured the fish BEFORE they realised they didn't like them at all becasue it was the wrong kind. The keeper was now gone, and the penguins started yelling and bickering between themselves. The keeper came in one more time, again to get the bucket ( not the brightest mind there was, I see : ) and to tell the penguins to ''shut up''. They shut up, waited for a few moments till the keeper was gone for good and started yelling AGAIN.

Now, something in that behavior reminds me of Lordi fans. Let's see what happened when BfB was about to come out. Costumes were promised, and like the penguins, the fans waited for them. They saw them and they liked them at the first moment ( well most of them, anyway P: ). Then the video came out, and fans liked it AGAIN. It all happened before some of them realised that, in reality, they HATE them both.

The album came out, and everybody was again off to tell everyone else who were ready to listen how much they loved it, how 80's like it was, how good it is that Mr. L keeps to his dreams, how good everything is, how nice the songs are blah blah blah and so on, and so on. And then the tour dates were published. And the Breakfast Box came out, too ( though you gotta be an idiot to buy one : ). So let's pretend it's all one big, happy bucket of fish which Lordi hand over to the penguins... I mean, fans :P

And now, some fans or fan groups realize they don't like that fish at all. They hate it. They wanted a salmon, but got a herring, now isn't that a scandal! The fans who realized they got a herring, are those to whose country/countries the band doesn't come this year ( *sarcastic voice* I wonder, why and how did they suddenly realize it xD ). And now everything is bad.

The video sucks, the monsters aren't scary ( see ''I miss Lordi being scary'' group on Facebook for this topic : ), the songs are too pop-like, the whole era almost ''as bad as Arockalypse'' ( though I loved the Arockalypse, it's still my favorite Lordi album from those I have, I still need The Monsterican Dream *rolls eyes* ), the shows and lighting during them suck.

Ahem... and I am almost completely sure that the persons who complain now, are those who were the first to yell ''OMG, this is sooooo cool, how splendid etc.'' when all the news came out. The video sucks... the same people who hate it now, claimed it was the best Lordi video evaaah when it came out. Now they miss the horror videos. The monsters aren't scary... The same people claimed these were great masks, such a nice compilation of all the eras. The songs are too pop- or disco-like... The same people who whine now, said they liked them earlier because they were ''so 8o's like'' *rolls eyes again*. The shows and lighting suck... You can't see if they suck or not, if you have't been there. I can't see any ''bright pink and red'' lighting in the videos, where did they get the idea? And you can't judge the scenery and all when watching an iPhone video, get that in your heads, people! You have to be there in person to be able to say ''this sucks'' or ''this rocks'' xD

Somewhere in the middle, Mr. Lordi might come up and tell everyone to shut up finally. He's the zoo keeper. As soon as he's gone for good, the penguins... sorry, the fans... start bitching again :P

Lordi fans are penguins. At least part of them. At least from the characteristic point of view.

P.S. I don't say that everything the band does, is good, but yeeeeesh, some people should stop bitching about everything. Not everything's gonna always happen the way they like :s

My fair... crow???

Hehe, once again, I got persuaded that the crows living in trees around our house are far more intelligent thn some of the people living in apartments.

I can start with the fact that one of the birds has already noticed when it's the perfect time to come for a visit and beg for a treat. So, almost every day at 13PM, it's there and waiting patiently and a bit shamelessly for me to open the window and give it something to eat xD

Ayway, what I wanted to tell about, is not about a crow who wants to get something to eat. It is about a crow who has caught its own meal already:

Two days ago, I come into my room at the morning and see - it's snowing outside. Of course, I am in a total shock as the weather is too warm to snow yet. I start to watch more closely, and I discover it is not snow falling from the sky, but bird feathers.
Our neighbour in the 4th floor has an air conditioneer installed at the upper side of the window. And, whenever she turns it on and the air in her room starts to circulate, there is a stream of air coming out through a hole on the upper side of the box. Once, one of the crows sat down on it and got blown off more due to its own surprise than to the stream.

Anyway, the crows are very intelligent birds who are easy to teach new tricks. So, after the first time being blown off, they had a thought how to turn this ''enemy'' into an ally.

So, I lean out of the window to see what the hell is going on and why is it snowing. And what do I see? There is a large crow sitting on the air conditioneer box, holding a dead sparrow pressed to it with one leg and is removing its feathers quickly ( nobody likes to eat their meal with feathers still attached to it xD ). The air conditioneer is on, the air stream is flowing, and the crow uses the air stream to blow the feathers away from the sparrow.

After a few minutes, the crow took off and flew away, sparrow in its beak and looking very pleased with itself. And you know, the crow had the full right to be pleased with itself, because I doubt that any other bird ( and some people, too ) in its place would have had the mind and imagination to work the seemingly ''enemy'' over into a ''friend''.

Mods, admins, monitoring and... RESPECT

Lately, there have been so many fight on Monsterboard... *sigh* anyway, I just wanted to express my thoughts.

It doesn't seem that the issue is connected with the lack of admins. Not at all. It's more connected with the idea that ''maybe it'll calm down on its own, we don't want to get flamed for deleting someone'''. But it's exactly what has brought the situation to where it is now.

There are other forums out there that have the exact amount of mods and admins, and still they funtion waaay better even they are bigger than Monsterboard. Jellyneo forums for example. They have like... three or four admins. And that's it. But there is more peace there with about 10 new users coming in every day. Why? Because people there know that if they say something flaming or insulting or if they break the rules, they'll be kicked to hell out of the forum before they can say ''bye-bye''.

Or let's take, for example, Neopets.com. It's a huge site with HUNDREDS of new users coming in every minute and THOUSANDS of users being on forum every hour, posting and doing whatever they do the best. And still there are no fight there, because the users know that it's enough for them to say one wrong word on the forum, and they'll get a warning or get banned and frozen, in most cases, permanently. Admins, mods and hundreds of monitorers, picked by the admins, follow the situation there.

It's not about the amount of mods and admins. The three admins and one mod on Monsterboard are just fine. What they need, is to make the users respect them. Make the users understand that they can't just come up on the board, doing whatever they want. Make them understand that it doesn't matter if you're a noob or a senior user - if you do something to break the rules, to flame or to start an argument ( and there are a few older members who start arguments quite often in Babbling section and elsewhere ), then you'll get banned.

This ^ And no ''Ow, we'll wait till it's calm again'' or ''We can wait and see how it goes.'' On other forums, admins are respected and feared. On Monsterboard, however, the admins are leaving the impression they are afraid of doing anything because of flaming and hate mail.

Another thing - on official forums, hosted by the labels or other companies ( like Viacom, owners of neopets ), the admins usually get paid for what they are doing...

How many gigs?

I was watching through the babbling section today on MB, and there was an interesting thing that popped in my brain suddenly.

It seems some people find it weird, if you haven't been, for example, to more than 2 gigs in your life ( at least if they think so ). At least it left that impression.
Hmm, this must make a completely weird and awkward person, because, frankly I haven't been even to one gig in my whole life. Haven't seen Lordi live not even one time. Haven't seen any band ''live''. Yes, I'm just a weird critter like that, I know. Well, if you don't count opera and musicals as gigs, which, in my opinion, would be a blasphemy for the opera...

I am not complaining about the comments in babbling, it just made me wonder why people maybe find it weird or awkward if someone hasn't been to many gigs xD

How to bring the country...

... out of where we are now.

I was watching a TV show yesterday night about the situation in Latvia culture and society. And what I really liked, was the end when all the people taking part were asked to express their opinion. One of the political scientists there was asked:
''What do you think would be needed to get Latvia out of the situation we are now?''

And what he answered, was:
''Two things: complete censorship and a Ministry of Propaganda.''

And you know what? Even if it was a joke, I think there is some truth behind that sentence.

Okay, I wouldn't be okay with a total and complete censorship, but a Ministry of Propaganda... it does have a potential.
Okay, maybe not a ministry, but a department or a bureau of propaganda wouldn't do bad at all. Not that kind of propaganda when they say that ''You must hate every other country and people, because Latvia ( insert any other country here ) is the best!'', but a kind of propaganda that would encourage people.

There are so many bad things happening now in Latvia, and they are always carried out in the front plan, forgetting all the good things happening around. Even the TV shows where they want to tell about good things happening, they always end up with some kind of problem that only makes it worse.

So, a kind of propaganda that would say like ''Today, 10 families on countryside were given money to buy school books for children!!! Yeaaah, WE'RE THE BEST!'' or ''The amount of jobless have fallen per 2% this year! Yeah, Latvians can do it!''
If you don't like the word ''propagada'', then call it ''Good News Agency'' or whatever.

The definition of propaganda is ''A form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position.'' And nobody says that it must always be used for political causes, it can also be used for other things ( *cough*McDonalds*cough*Coca Cola*cough*), and so why not use a propaganda to raise people's spirit a bit? After all the terrible things that have happened in Latvian economics and society, I think that a bit of push wouldn't be bad at all :)

Negative comments xD

Some people are complaining that the fans on MB don't do anything else than complain.

First, they don't just complain, sometimes negativism is constructive and you can't expect all the people blindly like everything Lordi are doing. Me as a person who earlier liked a lot of things they are doing, has just one word for some of the new things now, it's the Russian ''blj@#!!'' which in English would mean like ''goddamn, what are you doing screwing everything up'' xD But I don't complain.
I have only one thing to say about it, and it's what some composer said: ''Art belongs to the simple people. If the simple people don't don't like it, then the piece of art is not good.''

Second, I do believe that every person is allowed to have their own opinion. And saying that people aren't fans just because they find something the band does is bad, wrong or ''sucks'', that's just too stupid from those people. There hasn't been anyone who has given them the right to decide ''oh, you're a fan, you say everything's good, but that guy says that the new video sucks, so he's not a fan''

And the conversations up on MB leave also an impression that ''gosh, but it's sooooo 80s like, you MUUUUST like it''. Well, sorry, but I don't like it. My mother missed the 80s, because anything that was from the Western world wasn't allowed here in the 80s ( check some history books on that theme ). So I have had no real impression about what the 80s were like, my mother didn't listen neither to KISS nor anything else from the ''West'' society, and prankly I have no real wish to find out. We live in the 21st Century, not the 80s anymore -.-

So, in general and short - some fans need to grow up and stop following their idols blindly, worshipping everything they do and the ground they have walked on.

The new CD cover

'kay, so today Lordi revealed the new CD cover picture for Babez For Breakfast...

Is it good? Yes.

Do I like it? No.

But at least I have a reason for not liking it and it's not connected with ''ewww, it's pink'' or ''it's un-Lordi'sh ''.
See, in Latvia, we had this album series of children lullabies some years ago. And the designs of those covers were... well, they were quite like the BFB, at least in their theme ( without the blood and the monstrous demon baby, of course xD ). So I have no liking towards that cover now :s It is good drawn and no doubt Mr. L has talent, but it just... it doesn't speak to me, even if other people say like ''OMG, it's soooo 80-ties like!'' I have no doubt, if I didn't know how the album would look like when I would go to Randoms to buy it this September, I'd think the shopkeeper has lost her mind if she brought me something that looked like a lullaby CD :s Now, that would probably be fun xD If Mr.L's aim is to scare the crap out of some poor Latvian mothers who come to music shop in searches for a new lullaby CD for their damn brats ( the CDs there are labeled alphabetic, not by genres ), then he will suceed.

Will wait and see if the album is good itself, and it would be a wonder if a Lordi album wasn't good, but that cover... oh man, they should have called it Devil's Lullaby not Babez For Breakfast then, because the picture fits the DL better than BFB xD

It's such a beautiful summer day of August 1st, and yet where am I? I am sitting at home and aimlessly staring out of the window and sometimes into the computer screen.

Well, I should know better than with my social skills, I can't get anywhere further than the 60th level in Gothic 3, but still, it is like I would be forgotten by all and everyone. It's a nice day and I could think of dozens of activities to do outside, but what's the point of doing them if you are all alone in that? It's like swinging on the big, horizontal swings where one side comes down, the other goes up and so on. It's only fun when there are two; with one, they stand still.

So it is. I could, for example, think of going shopping. I have money for that, but it just isn't fun if you go alone, and even if you go alone, what's the point of doing it if none of those fucking clothes fit you anyway and if you don't like those idiotic accessoires?! What's the point of that? Should I go get groceries instead? Of course, I could just go for a walk, I have done it already today, but how many times can a person walk on the same fucking route without getting bored?

I am just antisocial. I have tried. In school, I tried for the first 4 years, then I just gave up because it seemed nobody had interest in me and I also didn't have any real interest in them. I have had like... 3 friends at school during the whole time I spent there. One from the 4th to 6th grade, one from the 8th grade to 9th grade an one in the 12th year. And that's it. Nohing more, nothing less. Others were more or less just classmates. The second friend developed better contacts with the others and so we were studying. I wouln't say I was living, more like existing as sort of the fifth wheel. I have been deceived a lot by people. The thing I ''liked'' the best was that I was never informed what the 2nd friend would do together with others. I can remember how we - the 2nd friend and two more ''friends'' - decided to go and see one of the Harry Potter movies, but, when the day came, she gave me a call ''Oh, hi! Turns out I won't be able to come. Hope you'll have fun, though.'' Me: ''Okay, sad that you can't come. I'm sure we will have fun :)'' She: ''Oh, about that... you know... we went to that movie last week... so... I hope you'll have fun...'' Me: ''I see... bye... '' It fucking hurts when people do so... :'(
The best friend that I have ever had, we were friend in the 12th year. We did have different interests aside from languages and politics, but at least she was honest...
It is also the reason why I am so careful on the internet. I better ask the person first, before I add them on Facebook. Because there is always that fucking question ''What, if they don't want me as a friend? I will just be the fith wheel again...'' For me, it is better to ask first: ''May I add you?'' and then act the one or the other way when the answer comes. If there is something in this world I don't want to, then it's forcing someone to be friends with me...

And still, despite my anti-sociality, I wish I had someone who would call me or write me a SMS and say like ''Hey, let's go for a walk together, I want to chat a bit''. Because, no matter how to hide it, it sometimes hurts to go outside for a walk and see people walking around in pairs or in big bunches, chatting and laughing while I have no other person to talk to ( except for that creepy imaginary friend who sometimes shows up xD ).
I would lie if I said I don't understand people who spend all their free time at Facebook and computer games. Because where else than those virtual worlds of WoW, Lineage, S.U.N or Raganrock Online can they meet other people if they are just like me? Hell, I'd escape there right now, too, if I had the chance and the resources to do so... I really wish I could do it...

It is very difficult. People also ask me, why I don't get excited about anything. Right now, two days are left till August the 3rd and new Lordi masks. I am not excited, with each new video I feel more and more like ''shut up already, people...''. Still, I am a fan, but at the same time I know I am the only fan who feels like that *sad sigh*
I have learned that I shouldn't get excited. I learned this the hard way. Every time I get excited about something, something always goes wrong and I am left on my own and ditched by everyone so I have no courage to do it again. I get deceived over and over, and over again and now have no wish to go through it again...

That's it... and it's still the nice sunny day of August the 1st... and I am still inside and staring out of the window and sometimes at the computer screen. I think.. you know, I don't think anything... I just keep existing.

Name f***ing Last Name

So, according to some people on MB, in English placing ''fucking'' between someone's Name and Last Name, like Mr. L does quite often, is expresing ''the amount of awesome connected to the person''.

Don't know about English, but in Latvian, if you would say ''Name'' fucking ''Last Name'' about someone ( even if you would claim you wanted to ''express the amount of awesome about this person'' ), most likely you would get your sorry ass kicked so much you wouldn't even remember your own name, not even talking about the name of ''Name'' fucking ''Last Name'' person xD

So I hope ( of course, if Lordi ever come to Latvia again ) that Mr. L never says ''Valdis fucking Zatlers'', because I really don't know what would happen to him then xD

I wonder...

Hmm, it seems everyone else around is running amok about all sorts of news considering Lordi, starting from Twitter and ending with FB messages.

Then I have to wonder, why the hell ( and if ) I am the only one who is like -.- about this all *insert :confused: emoticon from dA here :P * Maybe it is just because that every time when I read so much ''teasing'' stuff, I turn completely ignorant towards the news... It is not that I do not like Lordi, it is just... I am completely careless towards the news :s

Somehow, it seems I have finally gained the really useful ability to be completely relaxed towards almost everything that happens around. Yay! :D

The fans strike again *insert sarcastic woohooo here*

Well, well, as soon as news brought to us by Lordi show up on MB, it seems everybody is going berserk again xD What else could we have expected and why am I not surprised by it? xD

Quite some statements. The masks are finished, the photoshoot has taken place, the videoshoot too... and now, people are going all mad about it and don't know what to do and where to run rom their joy.

I am kind of sick of reading tons of the same statement by Mr. L on Facebook where it is posted by every second of the people I am friends with -.- Seriously, it is annoying. We read the statement on MB, then again, again and again, it seems the fans want the whole world to know about it -.-

However, there is fire breaking out again about the single which will not be released in tons of copies. I wonder for how long time the fans will go berserk about it this time. Not that I cared, I prefer waiting for the album itself not some lausy single I can't even get my hands on ( thank you very much, Sony Finland, for not noticing your neighbourhood country Latvia who is just over the sea; though maybe it's better, because we can be also sending you the internationally acknowledged sight of ''F*** You'' ). But here's a small advice for the artists - if you are so damn worried about money and how everybody downloads your songs illegally, MAYBE IT'S TIME TO PUT SOME COPY PROTECTION ON THE CDs? Why can't they do what Nena and other German artists are doing already since a long time? *insert :confused: emoticon from dA here* Instead of doing something to protect their music, today's singers and bands are complaining how the evil pirates are stealing their music -.-

Another thing everybody seems to be crazy about is the qustion ''When are we gonna see the new masks?!'' People should really calm down and take some deep breaths now. The masks will be shown when it is time for them, not basing on how may people write in MB ''CAN'TWAITCAN'TWAITCAN'TWAITCAN'TWAIT'' etc. etc. -.- Personally I am not excited about them. I didn't like the Deadache masks much, the only mask I really like from this era, is Mr. L's 9 oh, and also OX's face, BUT ONLY THE FACE!!! ) so I do not put much attention to the fact there are new masks coming up. The time will show if they are good or bad or if they were worth waiting to be seen :P
I must be such a calm person that I almost seem like I wouldn't care. And in most cases, I do not care what happens, I just live and I see if it is for better or worse :P

Hmm, and it is, of course, good they have a new video coming up some day. And then I also have to laugh about people's comments. I wonder how much they really know about CGI. I liked the comment like ''oh, CGI is what they did in LotR, it would be really cool if the video would be made like that''. Personally I think that, if their budget is so tight they can't release a single in not just a ''Promo'' version, but in a version that would be available for everyone, they should stick to the good old video style, not some CGI, 'cause in most cases CGI costs a lot more than hiring actors and doing all that other stuff ( you still need actors for motion capture, then a CGI crew containing specialists of that theme etc. ).
And I doubt that it will be something big in the video. Probably just some blood and flames and so on. Because it is obvious that a simple band can't gather together a CGI crew from Eragon, LotR, Transformers and Avatar and say ''We want cool graphics'' ( the answer from crew would be like: ''Give us 100'000 $ and you'll get your graphics'' xD ), so I'd suggest the fans not to go crazy about it, it'll probably not be anything big at all :P

However, the time will show if I am wrong or right in this entry. It always does :)

These are my thoughs I wrote, and you can think different, I only wrote like I see it, and if you happen to see different... well, I'm sorry then if I offend you :)

I feel my fingers itching terribly for writing today :XD: Later this weekend, I just might post two new chapters of the two fics I have running up here on dA, but for now, I just feel I want to put out what I think and have in my mind for now :P

About the groups and clubs on deviantART this time. I am a member of only one, so I don't really know how to say it so that nobody would feel offended, if they enjoy having joined them or if they have created one, but here goes:
I REALLY DON'T CARE.
I feel uncomfortable when submitting my works to groups. Okay, some Photoshop stuff I can submit, but the things will never go so far that I would submit my ''big pictures'' as I like to call them. It feels for me like I would loose any right for them the second they are accepted in a group. I haven't been sitting working on them for hours, days and weeks ( yeah, I am really THAT lazy ) just to see them being in some other gallery not only mine. The only reason I will ever accept an invitation to group and/or submit something, is that I want the be left the hell ALONE, not somebody constantly meddling me with ''when are you gonna join? When are you gonna submit?''
I just don't get it, too, why do fans crawl together like penguins in a cold day sometimes :penguin::penguin::penguin::penguin::penguin: :D Does the fact you are in some Lordi, BSB, Lady Gaga-gaga-goose, dragon or any other group make you a bigger fan than you already are? :confused:

It leaves the impression that people join groups and clubs just to get attention, favs and page/art views, not to show their art. Which is what I am not after. Even if I do feel honored that I have gotten over 5'000 views in the time I have been here and that people consider my art worth looking at it :giggle: :blush: It's not the best, but also not the worst level, and I am happy with it. So, thank you :thanks:

I also don't feel comfortable about countless contests :s So I do/will not take part in any. What can they give me if I attend and not win, anyway? Countless hours spent in waste, working on something I don't even like myself? I'd rather spend my time restocking in NP. And, if I win? Some months of membership? A piece of art that took 10 minutes to 2 hours to finish? Thanks, but making myself into a public ''art-whore'' ( I'm not saying you are those, I'm saying I would feel like one then ) for something like that is not my style -.- I can get that membership myself, in Latvian money 3 month premium cost about Ls 4.00, and I can do that art myself.

Another thing is also the mods and admins. Don't be offended, but when I read rules like ''don't submit that si that, si that ulte also that!'', my reaction is not ''Oh, then I will just draw art that I can submit'', my reaction is ''Screw you, you're not the boss of me, I'm not gonna submit anything anyway'' :D If dA would be made just of groups and clubs where I would have to join just to become a user, I'd rather go seeking for another art community :P

Well, what you know, it turned out to be a small rant after all :XD: But hopefully you have understood now what I think of groups and clubs and why I don't keep the big box on my profile here where it could say ''member of...'' I'm sorry if I offended someone now, but that's what I think and wanted to say :P

By the way, ''si'' and ''ulte'' are Na'vi words, both mean ''and'', but si connects two things like ''applesauce si pancake'', and ulte connects two actions, like ''I will come home ulte then I will watch TV''.

The nature catastrophie

Well, in the last time, I believe all people have been hearing a lot about the Gulf of Mexico and oil spill. And I have been thinking a lot about this issue.

First of all, I think it's a tragedy: Tragedy for the sea life and nature. There is nothing more terrible for me as a nature person, to hear about birds, animals ( the poor whales! ) and fish dieing or disappearing from those waters due to the oil spill; not even talking about how terrible it looks in pictures and videos.

But...
(by the way, I like the almighty word ''but''. Especially because it is usually followed by bad things xD )

as much as I would feel sorry for the living things there, I do believe that the humans finally receive what they have deserved! For decades, all the huge industial countries have been practically raping and abusing Mother Nature in any possible way they can imagine and polluted the world around them almost to the point when we are near extinction. No wonder it's happening what is happening now. No wonder, really. And now, all the ''green organizations'' in this world, like Greenpeace and PETA, can point their fingers at USA and UK and say right in their faces that ''WE TOLD YOU!!!''

Indeed, we told you, but you were too busy draining the natural resources and polluting the nature even more than you had already done till the moment. You were too busy sh**ing chemicals and other crap in rivers, seas and oceans, too busy destroying forests and animal species and you were too busy making all sorts of machinery and cars which would pollute the world even more.

And I have to laugh about people who are now protesting and saying ''We want our gulf clean again!'' Well, bravo, bravo, only... Where were you before this? Where were you when the oil drilling was started there? Were were you then? Ah, you didn't know? No, you absolutely could't imagine that there could be an oil spill from a drill in the middle of a sea/ocean! No, man, that's bulls***, nothing can happen, it's not that the oil is liquid! ( it was sarcasm, in case someone doesn't understand ) Well, now you know.

Gods, I hope the end of world will really come in 2012. Because most of human kind hasn't deserved to live. We have never deserved it. Not if we think we can do as we please, destroy everything in our way and take everything we want.

paradise much?

I have lately heard how a lot of British people have been complaining about their country and government. Well, I have never ever been to UK ( prankly, I haven't been anywhere outside my country except for Lithuania ), but I just can't help myself but to laugh at these people for now.

They all say how they don't want the new government and how everything stinks and how they don't want to live there under this Prime Minister ( btw, I don't care much about politics, so have no idea how his name is :P ) and in that economics and blah blah blah blah blah.
Then, I have a suggestion for them. They should come and live in Latvia for three months. Not like tourists who have fun here peeing on our Monument of Freedom or walking around with their a** naked in public, but like normal people here live: with their families, 200-300 Ls salary a month, only one person in the family working, in an apartment they have to pay rent for at the end of each month etc. - well, just like people here live. And they have to adjust to all the things that go on here in politics and economics, like the reducing of pensions and cutting of all kinds of allowances.

And after these three months, their own ye olde UK will look like a paradise to them.

The point of this entry? The fact that before you talk bad about your country, consider that there might be countries where life is even worse, so you have to be grateful for what you have.

What I have learned during these years, is that, if you have any pet and want a Halloween Kau instead, then it's MUCH cheaper to save up the 200'000 neopoints for Halloween Kau morphing potion than save up the 2'000'000 and more millions for the Halloween Paint Brush :P Also one more thing - you have to be inventive when it comes to making up names for your pets XD All pets I have created, have unique names :P

Cheese -.-

That's it... my life is ruined now :'( I can't eat any cheese :'(

It started two weeks ago :'( Every time I eat cheese that has more than 40% fat in it, I get stomach ache now :'( And that's when cheese is my favorite food... I like everything starting from usual slice of cheese for a snack till omelette with cheese. The only product that contains cheese and that I can eat now, are buns with cheese and baguettes that our local store produce, because they take products that are low of fat. No cheese chips for me now, no omelettes, foundue or bread with cheese :'(

So I have to find another favorite food now. The only good thing - I have lost some weight during the week I had stomach ache xD

You call that ''freedom''?

Well, I once again got persuaded that there is no real freedom in Latvia. The politicians are all corrupted, are stealing and doing whatever they want - no matter if money or rights -, the police and all the responsible institutions are just closing eyes on it and even if they would get their hands on one or two of the thefts, the money is allmighty here -.-

But now, it seems as the so-called 4th authority in Latvia, the press, is now endangered -.- Well, if police can invade the apartment of a journalist without any sensible reason, carry out a search and remove everything that could carry information ( which means they now have everything from her computer, USBs etc. ) then I don't know... then this country is sick! And the hammer is that nobody knows why they did it as they didn't have any real reason for that -.- Bye-bye, freedom of speech in Latvia! We'll miss you dearly!!!

For now, it is also unclear how the authorities will threat NEO ( yeah, I know it sounds like from The Matrix, but well, he's already the local star around here, a ''hacker'' who got inside the system of govenrment institutions ( or like that, I have no idea how to call it in English ) using the weak spots in the system and published some really, really interesting stuff which included the lists of payment the employees are receiving ). Obviously, that can't be considered a crime since he didn't break any firewalls and/or security protections. But we'll see what happens. I have understood only one thing now - if the authorities decide to judge any of those two I have mentioned here, I don't think the people will stand silent and just watch, and let them do it ( though people in Latvia are more like sheep, especially after all I have seen lately -.- All they can do, is write terrible comments on internet pages, nothing more; and even if they do more, the government doesn't listen to them -.- )

That's it, I'm happy I don't have any connection with those terrible affairs and, after all that has been happening in the last time, I think it's the best for me to move away from this motherf***ing country -.- I consider UK, Germany, Finland or maybe Norway... Anywhere is better than this danm place!!!

Oh, hey there :)

Well, as everyone around are getting blogs, I decided to get one, too xD Not much to say now, but I could tell about the blog's name :P

Well, the Mad-Rabbit comes from my childhood's favorite doll theatre play, which is called ''Three Mad Rabbits'' and quite prankly tells about three brothers who are quite usual rabbits. One day, as one of the brothers is being chased by a wolf and returns as the others have thought him to be already dead, they find out that the wolf has fallen into a pit and can't get out. And as the things start to go in a rather crazy way ending in that all the forest is now afraid of the three rabbits, therefor a song is created:
