I don't want to post this on dA as there it might call out floods of tears and other weird things. But I have to get this out no matter what, so the blog does ccome in hand once in a while.
I posted a journal on DeviantART with the title of ''Interview with characters. Nr. 2'' where yours sincerely Lady Troll spoke about a character of hers, Mero.
Now, when I posted it, I didn't think it would call out any reaction of the people, as, the way I can guess it, the deviant who tagged me, wanted to know more about my forest inhabitants rather than the other OCs I have ( which is fine by me since I mostly use the trolls anyway :P ). However, the reaction on one of the characters mentioned was a rather worrying for me.
In general, the person ( NOT the same person who tagged me ) said that they and Mero were quite similar at their level of evilness, and, when I mentioned that there is a difference between saying you're evil and will kill the one who hugs you and really stabbing the poor soul, the answer was that they would most likely do it if they were given a knife, large enough.
WTF? O.O
I really hope that at some point it was a joke.
I can't help but to wonder how immature or at what age the person is if they still play the ''badass''. However, I do not care if they play the badasss around their home or friends, or in chatrooms or anywhere else.
But.... for me as the person who created Mero in the first place, it is a rather weird situation. People say they are ''just like her'' and they'd kill if somebody hugged them etc. Mero... It is difficult to explain how or what she is. She wasn't made as the wannabe badass character or any ultra-feministic OC. She was made alone with the intention to create an evil character who does not need a reason to kill, torture or do whatever she pleases, if she pleases and when she pleases to do it. And that is that. Basically, if you get in her way when she isn't in mood for anyone getting in her way, you end up with your skull split open on a stone. Kindahard to imagine such a person in the real life.
And I do't even want to meet such person in the real life. A ''killer'' isn't good enough expression to describe Mero. A ''monster'' would perhaps be the best because that's what she is ( and I am NOT speaking about the kind of monsters Lordi fans know, but the kinds of you see in horror literature, maniacs and other dark people whom you wouldn't want to run into during both night and daytime ).
And then there is some person who comments and claims Mero is just like them. Makes me want to cry and laugh at the same time. This person obviously hasn't seen anything much in their lifetime, if they think it's just as easy.
Do you think killing is easy? What are your thoughts? One thing is to write about killing someone, yes, that's easy. But lately I have been thinking about how... How easy can it actually be, even more becasue I am nearing a part in a story I am writing where killiong has a rather bi meaning... and what would be the human's feelings about it?
Do you think it was just for the ''fun and being high'' that the warriors on ancient battlefields ( Celtic, Scandinavians, Balts etc. ) would use the so-called ''shrooms'' before a battle, getting themselves high? People really think killing is easy! Geesh, the movies and books these days have really set up a romantic version of murdering people: the hero goes, shoots the bad guys/cut them with sword/kills off ay other possible way and then leaves and lives happily ever after...
I have only one wish the people should follow. Don't. Associate. Yourself. With. My. Characters. Don't say you're just as evil as Mero is. If you were just as evil as she is, you'd be in prison a long time ago, in the sentenced to death block.
And finally, stop confusing me.
